Oh … Canada

We broaden our minds and dispense with stereotypes when we travel, and see how others live. In this case, a short virtual-trip across our northern border reveals Canada is not just the charming nation of helpful Dudley Do-rights who say “eh” that we’ve always attempted to overwhelm with our Coca-Cola culture. It also has a quaint Orwellian underside. Steyn with the latest on the proceedings of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal.

There’s some inside hockey, or curling, whatever, at the link that might be a little hard for loud-mouthed McDonalds-gobbling nation-invading Cheetos-addicted Yanks to follow. Will require a few minutes off Oprah. Takes enough effort just to remember the place is there. But it is fascinating to see that even here in 21st century North America, European-style star chambers exist.
