Great Taliban Victory
Claimed in Binghamton mass murder. FOX: Pak Taliban chief Baituallah Mehsud “I accept responsibility. They were my men. I gave them orders in reaction to U.S. drone attacks.”
Usually the absurdity of propaganda tends to undercut it. But Mehsud knows his audience. It isn’t us.

Yeah, the Taliban (and Al Qaeda) have been playing this game for a long time. At one point, they were claiming responsibility for the forest fires in the western US.
Lying is nothing new to these people; they do it for recruitment and funding. It’s nearly pathological. But it works.
