Turkish-Canadian’s bid to end it all by stealing a plane and entering American airspace fails when F-16s decline to shoot him down. ABC. It’s different. Kind of silly. He could have ended it all at any point by putting his feet up on the console and taking a snooze. And for any Muslim who’s depressed, has psychological problems, looking for meaning in life, interested in going out in a blaze of glory, there’s no end of jihad opportunities. But he’s a Turk, maybe he’s secular.
