It Wasn’t A Bow
It was a posture malfunction. Politico:
The White House is denying that the president bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the right and praise from some Arab outlets.
“It wasn’t a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he’s taller than King Abdullah,” said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Sounds a little like he’s trying to say, the boss wasn’t being obsequious. He was being condescending. Ben Smith notes that Wash Times and Weekly Standard cocked eyebrows and some Arab outlets applauded appreciatively. Neglects to note virtual radio silence in other quarters. Speaking of abasement/posture issues.

Libertypundit housesitting for Toldjah takes the White House’s “size matters” argument a step further. “Is that an oil rig in your dishdasha or are you just happy to see me?” Ok, that’s not exactly how he put it.

It worked well enough during the campaign (Ayers, Wright, Rezko, ACORN, Joe, mortgage crisis, surge, taxes, lobbyists, etc. etc. etc.) so we shouldn’t be shocked that he’s going to keep doing what he does best now that he’s President.

Obama’s dishonest posse tell these lies because they believe the majority of voters won’t see that video. They hope to sell it as just another VRWC, Rethuglican attempt to embarrass the President. Unfortunately for them, the numbers of internet-connected are growing, and it’s almost impossible to get away with that kind of chicanery now.
