UK Telegraph: Bills tucked in a brassiere save Brazilian woman’s life as bullets fly on a bus in Bahia. In a cop vs. robbers shoot-out, the cop didn’t make it and the robbers got away, but a passenger who caught some lead, 58-year-old Ivonete Pereira, will live because her 150 reals, about $70 worth in 10 and 20 real notes, slowed the bullet that would have hit her heart.
