Pals!

Obama, Chavez harmonizing, via FOX:
It’s a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine? It’s a neighborly day in this beautywood,
A neighborly day for a beauty,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I’ve always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.So let’s make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we’re together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won’t you be my neighbor?Won’t you please,
Won’t you please,
Please won’t you be my neighbor?
OK, that’s not exactly how they said it.
I’m a little disappointed in Chavez. I thought the game plan he and Ahmadinejad had worked out was Hugo was gonna go all “¡Diablo!” on Obama while A’Jad kept the “Great Satan” thing going. Must be the caving on Cuba.
Fausta notes Chavez leapt at the chance to do some suckuppy propaganda.
Malkin, magnanimously, “At least he didn’t bow.”
Maguire, cruelly, “The Latin variation of the Jihadist fist-bump.” Hey, c’mon, that’s the man-caused disasterist fist-bump!
Hot Air, also cruelly, “You wanted it, America, you got it.”
Here’s a good one. Indignant lefty Mahablog:
Can we just say that the wingnuts lack an appreciation of the power of good public relations, as opposed to throwing temper tantrums or behaving like your neighbor’s teenage brat who was never taught manners?
OK, is Mahablog talking about Chavez at the UN or Obama with the Brits? Ha ha, just kidding.
Meanwhile, Gateway examines the failure of US Cuba policy …

I get this eery vibe that Obama’s been given the keys to his parents’ summer cottage for the weekend and he’s invited all his pals to bring the cheap vodka and they’ve already started puking all over the nice living room furniture.
The pals are going to start tagging the outside of the house with spray paint soon and he’ll realize, too late, that things are going to get out of hand and he might not see those keys again.

Looks to me like our alleged President went out of his way to suck up to some petty tyrant, who also happens to be an avowed enemy of the United States.
Exactly how that’s supposed to help us is anybody’s guess.

Damn, Jules,
My weekend is gonna be long enough without seeing these craptacular images.
Jesus wept, son. These idiots in power are truly clueless.

That’s a hand job if it’s anything at all.

The upside is, there’s ammunition now to shoot down lefties who constantly throw up GWB’s handholding session with that Saudi.
