It would have to be a day I slept in due to late duties … paying attention to Massachusetts legislators’ preference for dunning us rather than detaching their layabout relatives from the public tit, plus a couple of updates re this damned swine flu. Schweinflu if you ask me. Exactly what we need right now, on top of war, economic crisis and an incompetent Neo-McCarthyite/gladhander of scoundrels for president.

There’s something else. While everyone is distracted by swine flu and stupid Air Force One “photo ops”, Congress and The Won are busy pushing through a national healthcare plan using something called “reconciliation”… which apparently limits the ability of anyone to object or filibuster against it.
