British Savagery
Brits ban a right-wing yacker. I’ve never listened to five minutes of the guy, don’t have an opinion on him. I don’t get the impression he’s recruiting jihadis. Whatever, their country. It’s not like they actually have free speech over there, though they have made strides in Sharia. Unfortunately, due to our current immigration procedures, when the jihadis finish taking over, the British will have to come through the Arizona desert and mow lawns, pick lettuce, frame houses like everyone else.
Steyn, cruelly: How many members of women’s-rights-denying, head-lopping, Christian-persecuting King Abdullah’s entourage at the G20 summit the other week live up to Jacqui Smith’s standards and values? He makes the point that the British government is selectively setting its standards a little high. I’d add that a certain prominent American who was recently welcomed with open arms in Old Blighty had violated some pretty fundamental British standards and values of protocol, decorum and manners himself … and pretty much signalled he was going to throw Britain under a third-world bus.
HotAir notes Savage hasn’t even tried to go there. It’s pre-emptive anti-hatist exclusionism. Too bad they didn’t try that on some of the jihadi deathmongers they’re already saddled with.
