A Playmate’s Moral Stand
Miss December 2001 distances herself from the moral swamp that is the Miss USA Pageant in the wake of the shocking Carrie Prejean scandal.
“I cannot with a clear conscious move forward supporting and promoting the Miss Universe Organization when I no longer believe in it, or the contracts I signed committing myself as a youth,” she continues. “I want to be a role model for young women with high hopes of pageantry, but now feel it more important to be a role model for my children.”
Take it away, The Other McCain, who notes that the previosuly unclothed divorcee misspelled “conscience.” Actually, she misused “conscious.” Whatever, nothing like a high-class stripper scorned. Now let’s get rolling with the Donald Trump for Supreme Court campaign. You gotta respect a man who can look at that weird combover in the mirror every morning, sculpt it a little, tell himself, “Damn, I look good,” and go out and do battle with the world. The guy’s like a used car lot John Marshall. He’s some kind of casino mogul Oliver Wendell Holmes. He’s a regular reality TV Earl Warren. He’s got a kind of glitzy Louis Brandeis thing going on. Does he carry the weight of that hair thing through the world on feet of clay? Maybe. But in the case of The Lefty People vs. Prejean, The Donald revealed himself to be a Cheese Whiz Solomon.
Neptunus Lex: “I really don’t understand how loopy some people get over attractive women holding disparate views from their own. For my own part, I find it quite compelling.” I’m with you, Lex, though in fairness it does depend on how loopy the opinion is.
The former beauty queen (clothes on, not divorced, mom of five) known as Sarah Palin weighs in, notes Prejean, Obama, Clinton share the same views. I’d add Obama also has posed topless at the beach. Clinton hasn’t … thanks Hill … though I seem to recall she did engage in public canoodling on a beach with her husband once.
Taylor Marsh, not above flashing a little flesh herself, gets more or less on the right side of this one as she congratulates Palin on her gotcha, slamming Dem hypocrisy and Olbermann’s misogyny. Not without slamming Prejean, though. Surber mulls the liberal cannibalism.
Oo, hot new Carrie Prejean photos. Here she is when she posed for Playjihadi.

Conscience isn’t a word she uses very often!

Jules, Taylor Marsh has removed the pages you’ve linked. I’m guessing that when she found her personal history inconvenient to her blogging, she very smartly just erased it! What a giggle.
Anyway, as you probably know Taylor’s previous career stops, before blogging on foreign ploich, politics and the Washington issues of the day, included secretary to the owner of “Danni’s Hard Drive” porn site and phone sex operator. This very fine review of her book on the subjects is here.
