You’re right. Mrs. C (or Ms. M, if she prefers) is indeed lovely.

    11. Start reading Tethered: A Novel on your Kindle in under a minute.

    I just did.

  3. Jules Crittenden Says:

    Many thanks, RH and TBH.

Wow, that’s great news. I’m sure the paperback will sell like wildfire. You go, Amy!

I would love to be in a book club discussion with Amy. Tethered is such a meaty novel, with deep, serious themes, and multi-faceted characters. I can’t think of a better book-club choice. I just emailed a friend with a book club to suggest this–and invited myself, of course.

I heard Amy speak at Grub Street (writer’s conference here in Boston) and she was dynamite. Thought-provoking, supportive, friendly, inspiring.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I can’t wait to read what your kids write!!! Here’s to the Mighty, Mighty Crittenden Clan!

Have ordered the book from Amazon, because the reviews are positive and intriguing. It’ll be a while before I can render an opinion (not that my opinion means beans), since I’m engaged in other online book clubs, but eventually, I’ll review for your satisfaction/murderous revenge.

  6. Grimmy Says:

    Dude!

How the heck did you get a woman of such quality to wife up with you? Did you order one of those “Hypnotize Women” guides from the back of a comic book, and actually got a CIA Psycho War training guide by mistake?

Come on, bud. How’d you do it? Fess up.

  7. Jules Crittenden Says:

It was the “Hypnotize Women” thing. I also got some nifty x-ray specs, got out of my deadend job, grew back my own lush natural hair, stopped getting sand kicked in my eyes and learned how to draw a pirate! I’ve never looked back.

  8. Jules Crittenden Says:

But thanks for doubting my abilities. CIA Psycho War training guide … bah!

  9. Moe Lane » “Tethered: A Novel.” Says:

[...] Jules Crittenden thinks that Tethered: A Novel is the bee’s knees, and while he may be matrimonially biased it did get some good reviews.  It’s not my standard fare - as far as I can tell, there isn’t a single exploding starship, implausible zeppelin, angels with rocket launchers, and/or allohistorical map anywhere in the book - but I figure that Jules wouldn’t steer me wrong.  Besides, it’s kind of interesting to see how the rest of the world impinges on the world of political blogging. Uh, Reason #1 is pretty strong reason there, Jules.
