The Verbiliousness Of The Impotently Indignant Sockpuppet
The sockpuppet currently blogging as Greenwald fumes, at length, about the majority party’s inability to legislate its way out of a paper bag. Apparently it’s because the Blue Dogs, in addition to being the only ones who make any sense, are also the only ones with any backbone or political sense. OK, that’s not exactly ow he put it. But I dunno, the Dems as a whole have shown their ability to act decisively … when the skids are properly larded. Those health care bills no one’s read must not have enough pork in them.
As usual Greenwald is unreadable, but I find I’m enjoying the graph or two of his indignant impotent frustration I’m able to manage even more these days, when he’s railing at Obama over Guantanamo or whacking the Dems over … being Dems … than when he was verbosely venting bile* at George Bush. Remember, back when they first got the House and the Senate and that big fat mandate, and it was all they could do to organize a watered-down handwringing anti-war resolution? It’s almost worth having them in power to watch this.
Surber, meanwhile, hurtfully wields the flaming lefty Eleanor Clift like a (sputtering, historically inaccurate) torch to illuminate the manner in which O is community organizing the right.

Maybe Greenwald should stop to ask himself if it’s “inability to legislate” or “unwillingness to put their congressional heads on the chopping block.”

The entire episode is a great example of what happens when the adults go on vacation and leave the kids to mind the store. Obama and his adolescent sycophants have been partying and pontificating like the high-school wannabe anarchists that they are. They are clueless, hopped up on their own egos, and driving their folk’s sports car down the legislative highway to hell.
Up ahead is a rather sharp lurch to the right that is likely to send them tumbling end over end to their demise, because they aren’t sober enough to slow down a mite and keep all four tires on the pavement.
Sucks to be them…….
