I think he should agree to apologize in public to a session of Congress, and when he is at the podium, he should say: "I would like to apologize to the President and Congress for my outburst last Wednesday. Though I stand by my words, that was not the proper time to express them." "I would also like to apologize to the American people for the huge and unprecedented debt being created by this Congress and the President. I would like to apologize for the almost 1 trillion dollar stimulus package that has utterly failed in its expressed purpose, which was to save and create jobs. I would like to apologize for the absurd cap & trade energy bill passed by this house which would lead to skyrocketing energy prices for all Americans. And I would like to apologize for the recent and ongoing attempts by the leaders of this house to take control of and ultimately nationalize our entire health care system." "Most of all, I would like to apologize to our children and our children's children, who will be born into a world of crushing debt and a government big enough to take away everything they have. We are letting you down, and for that I am truly, truly sorry." I think he should apologize (again). Personally, I love Myrtle Beach in all its tawdry, tacky glory (great beaches, though), and that has nothing to do with any politicians doing what politicians do.
