Scene Setter

The wife’s book was part of the scenery in a bookstore author-signing scene in CBS’ “The Medium” last night. Fast forward to about 13:05 at the link, look for the “Tethered” poster. Or watch the whole show:
Allison begins having visions of strange symbols and she thinks it could be the after-effects from her brain surgery. But those symbols might hold the key to discovering the identity of a notorious serial killer.
Interesting choice of backdrop. In “Tethered,” an embalmer also sees things others don’t, as it happens, and lives in a place where two worlds intersect, giving her the key to …. No brain surgery or strange symbols, though. Homage, product placement or happy coincidence? Dunno, but thanks for the nod, CBS. Howbout that Amy MacKinnon. Not only can she write, did I mention she’s hot?

I don’t watch “Medium”, but I did read “Tethered”. The book is good.

It is in my “to read” group of books. I need to finish “The Brain that Changes Itself” (given as a get-well if you wear a helmet and zap electrodes to your tongue gift LOL LOL LOL). It’s actually a good book even though there will be no helmet-wearing and electrode-zapping in the foreseeable future.
