Belichick’s KSM Moment
How bad was it? So bad that Ed Morrissey at Hot Air ventured out of war and politics to bash Bill Belichick over the last-minute bollixing of the Pats-Colts game.
(Just kidding with the Obama-Belichick comparison in the title … Belichick actually knows how to win games and didn’t rack up 3 Superbowls on popularity … But remember how the red, white and blue New England Patriots, with their musket-toting Minutemen in the end zone, took the first Superbowl after 9/11, defying expectations with Vinatieri’s last-minute, game-winning 48-yard field goal? You didn’t have to be a Pats fan to see the symbolism. And here we are, nearly nine years later. Obama’s bad call answered by Belichick’s. Almost makes you wonder.)
OK, enough politics. Here’s the Boston Herald re Belichick and the Pats:
Callahan: Billy Goat. Gerry describes an almost Obama-like megalomania in the closing minutes of the game, an insistence on doing it his way, against logic, to ill effect.
Duggan: Belichick’s on “D” in face of questioning. How quickly the worm turns.
Ron Borges with a Patriots Report Card … and Guregian: Grade ‘Em a D.
Damn, that’s harsh. But you know how it goes. Americans hate a loser, and turn fast.

You can’t begin to be able to understand the depth of my hatred for Belijerk. The only man I hate more than Belijerk, is Modell.
Surber might understand.
