Duke rape case prosecutor Mike Nifong has to cough up $8897.71 to pay for his own disbarment. The Smoking Gun has the bill. It also has the previous letter from Nifong informing the North Carolina State Bar Association that, well, his dog ate his law license.

Libby gets 2 1/2 years and $250,000 fine. Kristol is worked up that Bush said its “terrible” but is holding off on the pardon. Doesn’t sound like he’s closed the door, nor has Libby heard the doors slam.
